Greetings,
On behalf of the Son's Nation of the WRNSD, we wanted to provide the full details, or as full of details, that we can at this time concerning the postponement of the annual Night at the Races.
We thank Justin Sykes for getting the word out last night concerning the postponement and wanted to follow up with additional details.
After careful consideration and in light of the public closure of restaurants and bars the NATR committee made the decision postpone the event until October. We have already secured two possible dates and times that work with all of our venders. At this time we will honor all ticket purchases for the evening as well as all horse purchases.
The great news is if you were not able to purchase either a ticket or a horse, you now have time to do so. We also will still have amazing basket auctions as well as several side boards. We tentatively have another NATR scheduled for January, the committee will explore alternate events as to not create fund raising fatigue.
With this postponement it will become more important that before to have full support of the organization. This fund raiser will assist in so many of the amazing activities that we do, that assist in creating memories with your child. If you can not make the date when it is announced, perhaps you can purchase a horse, or find someone else who wishes to come, or help in another way. We are stronger and more successful when we are all able to work together.
If you have any questions please contact us through our website www.wrnsd.org.
We thank you for your patience, please remember to follow all CDC guidelines and recommendations.
